This project was delivered as a custom Daisoras-built solution designed to automate dinner subscription, recipe, logistics and administration processes in a single system.

“Vakarienės prenumerata” (“Dinner Subscription”) is more than plain e-commerce. We built a specialised platform for this project to manage subscription baskets, recipe selection, product calculations, payments, customer accounts and order administration. The main goal was a system that works not only on the customer’s side, but also automates everything behind the scenes: from recipe logic to logistics and internal calculations.

A platform built not just for sales, but for managing the entire subscription

“Vakarienės prenumerata” is not a typical online store. We built this platform from scratch around a specific subscription model that unites customer orders, recipe logic, delivery and internal process automation in a single system. The solution covers the whole journey: from the customer’s choices to ingredient calculations, passing data to logistics and administration tasks.

It’s a platform designed not only for convenient shopping, but for efficient day-to-day business management.

A technology solution tailored to custom business logic

The project was built using PHP and WordPress. Daisoras created a custom theme, fully tailored to the dinner subscription model. This isn’t a template solution or a page-builder architecture, but a system designed from scratch with non-standard business logic, subscription management, customer accounts, payment integration, delivery management and admin tools.

The entire platform architecture was built so that different processes work as one coherent system, rather than a set of separate features.

Features covering the entire user and administration journey

Flexible basket and subscription logic

The customer side features custom basket logic built for the dinner subscription model. Users can choose ready-made baskets or build a MIX option from selectable recipes, set the number of people, subscription length, city and delivery date. The full order status updates dynamically, factoring in price, delivery and discounts.

Recipe selection and a clear ordering flow

The platform features recipe previews in modal windows, selection validation and available baskets shown by city and delivery date. This helps customers quickly understand what’s on offer and put together the right order more easily.

Payment and delivery management in one chain

The checkout stage is adapted to real operational needs. Customers can choose different delivery methods, enter contact and address details, apply discount codes and see a clear order summary before paying. The platform is integrated with Paysera, and once payment succeeds, shipment creation is automatically triggered through the DPD API.

User account and subscription management

The customer account lets users register, sign in, recover a password, update their details and view order history. The system also handles active subscription management: weekly menu choices, pause or continuation logic and automated subscription scenarios.

Gift vouchers and additional sales opportunities

The platform includes gift voucher functionality with PDF generation, voucher codes, expiry dates and usage rules. This is an additional commercial channel that extends the system beyond standard subscriptions.

The admin environment and process automation

Tools built on the admin side make it possible to manage orders, filter them by city and date, change statuses and work with different order groups. The platform automates recipe and ingredient calculations, allows order, ingredient and product summaries to be exported to XLSX files, generates production sheets and passes accurate data to logistics.

This let the business not only take orders more conveniently, but also manage behind-the-scenes operations more efficiently.

Daisoras’ contribution

Daisoras built the project from architecture through to launch. The biggest challenge wasn’t the individual features, but how they connect to one another: how recipe selection drives ingredient calculations, how the order flow is passed to logistics, and how the admin tools match the team’s real working model.

So the whole system was designed as a single business tool that brings together sales, operational management and automation.

The result

A custom dinner subscription platform that unites customer orders, subscription management, recipe logic, payment, delivery and administration processes in a single system.

This project shows how a custom-built WordPress platform can become not just a sales channel, but the operational foundation for an entire service – helping to manage processes from the customer’s choices to product planning, logistics and the automation of internal calculations.
